Impact Africa Network (IAN)

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your participation in the Ignite Program organized by Impact Africa Network (IAN). By enrolling in the program, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and meet the criteria set by IAN to be eligible for participation in the Ignite Program.

2Program Commitment

You agree to:

  • Attend all mandatory sessions, workshops, and mentorship meetings.
  • Complete all assignments and deliverables within the given timelines.
  • Actively contribute to team projects and discussions.

3Code of Conduct

You agree to maintain a high standard of personal and professional behavior throughout the program. This includes:

  • Respecting fellow participants, mentors, and staff.
  • Refraining from discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate conduct.
  • Upholding integrity, honesty, and accountability.

4Confidentiality

You must not disclose or misuse any confidential information, including ideas, business concepts, or personal data shared during the program.

This obligation continues even after your participation ends.

5Intellectual Property

All content on this Website is owned or licensed by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

No part of the Website may be copied, modified, reproduced, republished, or transmitted without our prior written consent.

6Media Consent

You grant IAN permission to use your name, image, and likeness in program materials, websites, reports, and other media.

You may opt out by notifying IAN in writing.

7Data Protection and Privacy

IAN will process your personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. Your data will be used for program administration, evaluation, and impact reporting.

8Program Termination

IAN reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program if you:

  • Breach these terms
  • Fail to meet the required level of engagement
  • Engage in conduct that harms the reputation or objectives of the program

9Disclaimers

IAN makes no guarantees regarding outcomes or success resulting from your participation. The program is provided 'as-is' without warranties of any kind.

10Limitation of Liability

IAN shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in the program.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

12Acceptance

By participating in the Ignite Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
